Integrity
Rules we will not trade away for a contract.
A public official researching this firm should be able to read how we handle independence, money, data and conflicts without booking a call. If a rule below cannot be kept, we decline the work.
-
01
Independence
We do not sell software licences, hosting, or a platform of our own. Advice that ends in a purchase from us is not advice.
-
02
No silent exceptions
A choice that breaks a FAROL principle is escalated to the sponsor with an alternative attached. We do not bury caveats in a contract appendix.
-
03
Anti-corruption
We do not pay, offer or accept improper advantages. We do not use local agents to do what we would not do ourselves. We will walk away from an engagement that requires it.
-
04
Conflicts
We will not take two sides of the same decision. If a conflict appears after we start, we disclose it in writing and, if it cannot be managed, we exit.
-
05
Your data stays yours
Operational data is processed only to deliver the engagement. We do not resell it, and we do not use it to train a product. At handover, copies we hold are returned or destroyed as the statement of work requires.
-
06
Audit trail
Assumptions are written down. Sources are cited. Every figure we put in front of a board or a committee can be walked back to the record it came from, in the room.
-
07
Discretion
We name no client, ministry or programme without written consent. That is why this site has no logo wall. References are given privately, to the people who need them to decide.
-
08
Small governance
One sponsor. A delivery unit of seven or fewer. Forty-five minutes a week. Decisions in writing. A blocked decision escalates within forty-eight hours. No standing committees.
These rules sit in the statement of work. The privacy notice covers data sent through this site. Engagement data is governed by the contract, under Portuguese law, with the client as owner.
If you need the due-diligence pack, ask.
Legal form, insurance certificates and a draft statement of work go to the procurement officer — not onto a logo wall.
