Who we are
Two founders, two disciplines, one delivery team.
One of us comes from sport, the other from building systems for regulated operations. That pairing is the firm: the person who understands the operation and the person who builds what replaces it, on the same engagement from day one.

The two of us, and the team around us.
Most firms hand a redesign to a software team and hope. We staff both from the start, which is why the thing that leaves our hands is a working system rather than a report about one.

Statera — the Roman balance.
A statera is a steelyard: one arm, one counterweight, one fulcrum. It settles a question by measurement rather than by whoever is loudest in the room. That is the standard we hold our advice to.
Two thousand years later the instrument is a model and the counterweight is evidence, but the point has not changed: put both sides on the beam, and let the result be checkable by anyone.
Values
Four commitments we will not trade away.
-
01
No lock-in
Open formats, documented systems, and no licences of our own to sell. If you decide to replace us, what we built stays yours and stays usable.
-
02
Checkable work
Assumptions written down, sources cited, models handed over open. If a number cannot survive being audited, it is not finished.
-
03
Capability stays
Success is your staff running the system without us. We plan the exit into the engagement instead of discovering it at the end.
-
04
Discretion
Most of this work is sensitive long before it is public. We name no client without written consent, which is why this site is short on logos.
